I wish WP.org plugin repository had more social staff, like ability to follow developers. That would make quality plugin search process easier. Imagine, you could narrow down the search results to plugin author, which you’re following. What other social features would you love to see in plugin repository?
Being mentioned in WordPress credits, feels really good, even I only did few small contributions. Planing get involved more in next releases.
Meta boxes are not used to divide a screen into sections visually. (An exception would be the Link Manager, which is very old and shouldn’t be used as a guideline.) They’re designed to provide flexible layouts for the post and dashboard screens.

_s (Underscores) starter theme makes theme developers lives easier and Theme Reviewers team happier. Just reviewed theme which was based on _s and only found one issue (and I think that was simply missed by dev), that’s pretty rare in my review cases.
Today my third patch was applied to bbPress. Patch adds forum/topic/reply attributes help tab to contextual help. It feels good to be a part of open source project.
